Spirography – examination of
respiratory function, whereby the volume of lungs is defined, its
elasticity and patency of airways. Indications to examination are
diagnostics of various pulmonology, illness tracing, and an estimation
of working capacity of lungs.
From a position of labour safety and safety measures on a workplace
the given examination is important for passing to people who contact to
various chemicals or work in the conditions of dust gathering.
Before examination: 2 hours without coffee, tea and cola-drinks and also other foodstuff containing stimulators, 4 hours without smoking, 1,5 days without alcohol.
Examination is not carried out: during acute infections, hypertension or heart rhythm disorder.
